Series of Facebook user accounts have been attacked and dispersed the path (link) contains malicious code to your friends list via Facebook Messenger program on your computer.
According to network security antivirus software company, the path that contains the malicious code is automatically distributed to users through Facebook's chat application when one of your friends in the list of users who are infected with malicious code.
This path will be of the form like a video file that you want to send to your friends to see.

This phishing website will try to trick users to install more extensions for the browser named Nupu to viewable videos.
This utility is actually malicious code. However its harm to users how the antivirus software is not clear. They only said after the malicious code has been installed, it will retrieve the list of your friends and continue to spread the malicious path through Facebook Messenger.
To remove malicious code has been installed on the machine, the user can go to the Chrome browser, type in the path to "chrome://extensions" and select uninstall Add-ons Nupu.
